New pattern: the Candy blouse

Bring back the era of the blouse, I say! It can seem a little outmoded, but the blouse is such a wonderful wardrobe staple. Contemporary stretch fabric makes it all too easy to chuck on a t-shirt in the morning and be done with it. And while I'm the last person to diss jeans and a tee, sometimes I want something a little more refined (but just as easy).

The Candy blouse gives you just that. Great with a pair of trousers or a tucked into a skirt, it's a little dose of vintage-inspired elegance to get you through the day.

With the pussy bow tie at the neck and short cuffed sleeves, it's a super sweet spring staple. But damn, if it isn't a little sassy too with six snap fasteners in the front. No one can deny the satisfaction of popping press studs. This will come as welcome news to button-haters everywhere, as the Candy blouse is easy to sew and has no fussy buttonholes. Done in a snap. Literally.

Sew it up in a bold solid, or have fun with print. I can't wait to see what variations you make! Find out more about the Candy blouse in the shop and, as always, email me with any questions.
